Dictionary: ASC(Aquaculture Stewardship Council, ASC), is a certification system designed especially for aquaculture products.
The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and the Sustainable Trade Initiative jointly helped to form the conference in 2010. Mainly responsible for formulating the criteria for judging the sustainable development of aquaculture.
The main specifications are 7 major projects including water for culture, water quality, feed, disease, animal welfare, environmental and social harmony, and labor force. (includes 61 testing standards)
It must be 100% compliant with 61 inspection standards before it can be verified and the product is marked with an ASC certification.
